Embedded Systems
From bare-metal to production firmware.
Master microcontroller programming, real-time operating systems, and hardware-software integration. You'll write firmware in C, work with RTOS schedulers, implement communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C), and build IoT-connected devices from scratch.
What you'll build
- Bare-metal C programming on ARM Cortex-M
- FreeRTOS task scheduling and synchronization
- UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN bus protocols
- IoT connectivity: MQTT, BLE, Wi-Fi
- Debugging with JTAG and logic analyzers
- Capstone: Build a sensor data logger
